Thank you, yes by trial and error i am adding plants that don't mind too much water! although there is a limit ay. We have now installed a pump in a sump and does not get like this anymore thank goodness.

When I first saw the thumbnail I thought " wow what a great pond right behind the house " The water sure came close to your house.

Hi Lori it was like that for about a fortnight, it was awful. although the dogs and grand children loved it as did the local ducks from the village pod!
