Aster -renamed courtesy of Scotsgran

This is a lovely colour RPJ. Is it an aster? Is it a summer flowering annual? I thought Californian poppies were bright orange. They were adopted in the early 1900's as the state flower of California.

OOOO - I think you may be right Scotsgran - I will remove this picture later.

It looks good enough to eat RPJ it would be a shame to take it off. Please just rename it.
