Ha, i'd be far too ashamed at my lack of creativeness- your garden puts mine right to shame! wish i had an ounce of your creativeness and inspiration! i'm a bit limited insofar as we had a new lawn laid late last year and now have border garden around 3 sides of the lawn and the patio meets the 4th side. i tried to convince my hubby that we need to 'borrow' your ideas for baskets on the fence but he was having none of it! i'll just have to see what i can do over the summer to make it pretty x

Your hubby aversion to baskets is a bit funny :-) where there's wall space i've got wall baskets,and now i'm adding more climbers.My hubby luckily love the garden being stuffed as i do and very helpfull with creative ideas,maybe yours will see the light one day! It takes time.Mine started with some ugly paving and plants wherever i had soil,we just came with the ideas slowly.Grass and 3 borders really don't leave you with much,do you really need all that grass?

hmm, well, probably not, however the aversion to baskets doesn't end there- i think if he had his way the garden would be paved from fence to fence, so in the spirit of compromise this is what i was left with! better than nothing and at least i've got space for a few flowers and to grow a bit of veg. might stretch to planting a few climbers to pretty the fences up x

lol,you do have a challange there! Maybe you can start nicking inches of the grass ,one by one ;-)
