Penstemon 'Electric Blue' june 09

I've fallen in love with penstemon....have some for the first time, this year...this one is gorgeous...:>)

Luv Penstemon there such good doers.

Everyone always says that but i never manage to get them 'doing' at all! This is a lovely healthy looking one!

That was the first year it flowered,see how it will do this year.I took cuttings just for safety.

Well that was wise indeed cos one of mine is totally dead after this winter!

It's alive,but getting quite woodsy.I do need to get some more types.

It's a really beautiful one! I love 'sour grapes' as well and the one I have is also a lovely shade of blue/lilac. don't remember the name but it's in my garden page.

I might get sour grapes,I need some more penstemon.

They are lovely. I'm not getting any more. I've given up and gone into more Geraniums now - they are tougher!

I also want more hardy Geraniums ;-)
