Stream project - begun!

My lovely husband strimmed the stream bank for me today...but didn't clear up, as you can see! Now I can get the steps out and climb down to start clearing and digging. Wet days can be spent planning what plants might enjoy this environment. I have already grown some purple loosestrife from seed, so that's a start!
