An early photo of the garden taken not long after we had moved in - in fact this time last year (Easter 2009). This is a full year before we started the terracing but you can just make out a faint painted line on the grass going across the garden where we had already started thinking about removing the slope and creating the terrace.
The leylandii had only just been bought and have filled out a bit this past year. The silver birch in the corner will hopefully grow up to fill that space and screen the view of the street beyond a bit in time.
The transformation of the garden will hopefuly become apparent as we complete it this year.
