When in doubt ask? I took a sample of my little primula to the SRG Club show on Saturday and found out what it is. I love it but knowing which cultivar it was niggled at me. On top of the name these enthusiasts were full of information. It is a male plant. If you look in to the throat of the flower you can see a pin. The female has more than one. If I am not quite right there I am sure Moongrower will be pleased to put me right as it was thanks to her and Bulbaholic mentioning the show that led a friend and I to attend. She introduced me to a member who told me there are male and female plants. He conceded that the female ones are the best looking.
