Thanks Greenthumb. I always take my camera now just in case I find a shot. I take it into the garden also when I go out there :-)

I do love these plants. The previous tenant left a few in the tiny patch of soil around the paving - prob is, I can't find them once they've died back and it's (presuambly!) safe to dig them up and move them to a trough. oh well, I'll have to dig up the whole patch and seive the bulbs out!

They do spread quite a bit Fran don't they. I have bought many bulbs from the pound shops and have never had any trouble with them. I have seen grape hyacinth in there too....

I try not to look at the plants in the pound shops - I counted the other day and I've got 99, plus four more to go in (couldn't resist a rose bush for a quid!)
