The house name. It was several years before I discovered there was a camellia of the same name. I ordered one but when it flowered, it turned I had been supplied the wrong variety. The real one is a relatively recent addition and it was shoe-horned behind a rhododendron at first but was moved last autumn and now has plenty of space

Glad you eventually got one - it's beautiful.

There are three 'special' named plants in the garden - camellia 'Devonia', magnolia grandiflora 'Exmouth' (where I was born and grew up) and iris sibirica 'Bracknell' (where I now live). A friend gave me a piece of the iris last year so I hope it will flower for me this summer
