Thank you Lindak. Not finished yet as more bulbs to come through plus few other bits to come.

We recently moved here and trashed everything in this garden as the shrubs took over more than a third of the space and the fence was completely covered in ivy. We've started from scratch including new fence so our garden is young and a bit on the bare side but the plants will grow bigger in a few years. That includes the climber too.

I must admit, i was tempted to lose the ivy but wasn't sure what state the fence underneath was in. Trouble is its a fence that seperates our garden and flat above and she's got stuff against it so can't put new fence in.
Might lose it at end of the summer and repaint and repair fence.
Another job on the list! lol

WHen I stripped the old fence of ivy the fence...that belonged to the neighbour at the back, was absolutely rotten. I went round to the next road and spoke to him and he said yes, then no, so we left it and two of the panels gradually fell down so we spoke to his relatives and said we'd pay some towards it and then it all happened and he was pleased once the new fence went up. Boundaries we have found and experienced from past properties are not always easy issues to deal with but the main thing is to sit down and talk to the people concerned rather that fall out make a compromise.

To be honest, our neighbour upstair would be all for it as she loves what i've done to our garden so far. She's revamping hers this summer. Might talk to her about it!
