Thats the same as mine, you can make up the render mix and cover the gaps. I also stood mine on 1/2 slabs each end so the drain hole could drain. Dont forget to put it in its final position first as once filled impossible to move.

already have 1 sink i've planted with carrotts so as everyone in the family likes carrotts will be going for more i think :-)
