I had to move this 'Japanese Willow' out of the yard because it was not getting enough water. I put it where the forsythia were drowning but I did build it up a bit and block around it with some rocks - just in case it may get too wet. So far, it seems pretty happy.

love your garden, you work with so many different textures in a very non ordened way, it really flows
also like your many shady areas where you play with the light and colours of your plants and materials
but where do you manage to find so many different stones and slabs? mybe you live in a stony part of the country
do you prepare the soil before you put th stones in, as in hardcore and sand or do you do as i do and just dig them in?
