Thanks Michaella, Sixpence and Sandra. This is the first year for me to try them so when they die back I will store them in a bag ready for planting out in November :-)

If when you replant them put some tiny gravel under them it gives them drainage, stops them from rotting, especially if you ever want to keep them in.

Thanks ! I will remember that Sixpence. I did drill drainage holes in the sides of the tubs but I will take the tulips out when they finish as I can use the tubs for other flowers :-)

Yes thats a great idea it was Andrew who informed me of the gravel.
