Spring was a month late this year Karen, do you think that held them back?

Yes, I do DC I'm finding some things are very late. These are new bulbs though, so hopefully next year they will come out a bit earlier. It is also a very shaded area. It used to be full of herbs but not enough sun so I'm converting to shady planters.

That's a bright little thing,my daffodils are just memories now :-)

I'm still waiting for some!! Mind you, I have some that never flower until May, even in a warm year!
