I hate to break it to you Richard but one of these cuties has got to go and its not my daughter! its right outside my lounge window so when i look out thats all i see, i'm just going to take the roof off and plant in it.
Thank you for your comment, i will make a wish before i take a sledge hammer to it. ;o)

Good idea with the well. You could make it into a pool also if you wanted too Clairey and have a fountain in the middle -just a thought. But maybe not such a good idea with a young daughter and water ;-)

its not so bad as its out the front, and she is never out there without me, ,but i already have a mohooosive pond to look after.
I wanted a waterfall and a fountain eventually for this pond, but not a priority at mo.

It sounds as though you have plenty to do there Clairey having just moved to Norfolk in your new place. It is a lovely part of the country and I wish you and your daughter well. Let's hope we have a nice summer and you can enjoy your new garden and house :-)

at the moment it is trial and error, i really didnt like previous owners home made water fall, so i chucked soil on it and planted heather, they didnt seem very happy, so i dug them out again and ripped up all the pond liner underneath, so shall see if that helps.
thank you for the welcome, everyone on this site is very friendly and helpful.
Have you got a picture of your veg, i'm eventually going to have a veg patch but my priority is to tidy it up first.

If you look on my photos you will see my 'effort' in veg growing. If I could find batteries for my camera i would take some more to show how they are growing :-)
I have to say though that the veg is doing far better in containers than in the ground..
