I bought a new red one a few weeks ago San , the leaves fell off that soon after it was planted but I have noticed new shoots coming up so perhaps it was just the moving that it didn't like .......

thats given me some hope amy, i do hope it recovers, keeping an eye on it now and making sure its watered regular

this was good till planted Tog but not looking very well, so ive moved it to a bit more sheltered spot, will take a pic if and when it recovers ;o)

San, it looks like a bit of frost or wind damage to me. My passion flower would look really poorly at this time of year but as soon as the warmth came it would grow like mad again. I think it will be fine! Hope so!

thanx for that karen, its a bit more sheltered now on this fence.

Some years mine would be totally bare, and I would cut off all the frost damaged stems but it would still be beautiful come august! you won't have to wait that long being further south!

I agree with Karen, I have 3 plants this year that looked dead and this week have signs of new growth. Like all of us! sometimes plants rest longer than usual especially if disturbed.

Fingers crossed for for it.
