Nasturtium Blooming growing wild in Balboa Park, San Diego,CA.

The Nasturtiums are still growing and blooming because all the unusual April showers we've had this year. Usually, they would start dying out by now. Photo taken Apr. 23, 2010

Milky:

Do they grow wild there in spring or summer?

These plants cover large acreage in winter only...because that's the only time of year we have rain. : > )

It's unbelievable...these plants are still blooming all over the sides of the mesas still which is pretty late...they usually start dying off by now.
