mmm, looking again, perhaps this is the same as yours. What do you think San? I dont' think it is just odorata, it is so much later than those to flower.

it does look the same, hard to tel as mine not fully open yet, colour looks the same and leaf to, your more an expert than me karen ;o))

Before I started this blooming site San, I didn't care less what anything was called other than the clems and the roses! Now I have this 'garden' page, I am on a mission to identify everything!! I don't think I'm more of an expert than you San. I'm going to change the tag though and give it the name of yours....if they are the same colour and flowering at the same time and look the same...that's good enough for me!

Oh b****r - I get my Mauves and purples mixed up ! Beautiful anyway !

Well, it looks quite purple in this photo muddy, but in real life it is much pinker than this. It's funny, but mauve never comes out right in my photos. The blue seems to over power the red hues!
