Kath, congratulations! I cannot get my french beans to germinate this year at all. three attempts so far and I feel like throwing in the 'trowel' lol. I think they are just not liking my multi purpose compost or something. Perhaps the mice come in at night and dig them up! I have literally one. One plant from about 30 seeds on three different attempts! I think I'll have to buy some from the GC...hate doing that!

I used to use Levington Mulit Purpose but much prefer Westland.
