Now that the snow has gone, Bianca is spending every waking moment outside. I haven't pulled off the mulch quite yet but am spreading plastic to warm up the beds early.

Thanks. She is definitely enjoying the warmth. She gets so bored being inside through the winter, but she wont step out for anything. :-)

Good to see her exploring and must be a lovely feeling for her after all that time indoors.....although I'm sure she is spoilt rotten:o)

She likes to stay cozy Clarice and safe. This time of year she can;t wait to just get out for a while but stays close.
Sandra, I have so much to do, and now started at a nursery planting doing custom orders so I barely have time. But I can get lots of ideas.
She is spoiled rotten for sure OB. :-)

My old buddy, Barney, used to love to get out there in the early spring and check around for voles! red meat after a winter of friskies....he'd barf up the black fur onto my kitchen floor... funny...I wouldn't mind cleaning up that mess as much now.

I love it San, but I don't get a spare penny. Still going with seed. I can take any starts I make from cuttings and I got a flat of moonflower because no one was buying. Good they know I know what I'm looking at. I get alot of stuff like that. :-)
Bianca brings gifts herself, donating to the food store I suppose. I say thank you and throw it out....lol. Its her nature, I shouldn't break her of it.

Definitely not a habit to break...it's instinct~! I think they need the red meat. Imagine eating catfood all the year long? Old Barney treated the voles as a spring tonic....(along with the nice fresh shoots of grass) it really perked him up and put a stop to the cold, dark, long winter blues!! He liked to chase butterflies...but I never saw him eat one! and Mandy loves to chase ( Snap! Crunch!) bumblebees!..she will take on a wasp too(not something I encourage) if she's feeling feisty...
