The daffs and star flowers bloom while shrub is still leafless. Then intense leaf colour as leaves unfold. Then pink flowers. Then good autumn colour. See questions.

It is a compromise front garden. It looks like a dessert really!! This plant was grown from a seedling in a paving crevice near my backgarden Goldflame. So it was a freebie. The other one in the other slot was a bought plant. It has reddish tips to the leaves. This one was pulled up soon after planting and dumped in Alf's window box next door. It survived the vandalism!!! So I don't want pots in the front garden. Care and watering and probably vine weevil would saunter round and lay their eggs.

That certainly brightens up a wet day, Dorjac.
