This is the first flower !
Unfortunately, this plant gets attacked very badly by caterpillars and looks shredded, holey and awful ..... i'll replace it this year with something sunbather that won't attract the caterpillars so much.

is it a vine?

Arun, it's a small, woody shrub.
It loves hot, dry areas and without the caterpillars it flourishes here, unfortunately, i seem to have more than is fair when it comes to caterpillars in gardens and each year it's attacked very badly.
It'll go to the huge garden in the sky this year - as soon as i find a suitable replacement !
