Ahhhh we have used this about 3 times now 1st attempt Nico smoked us out and our neighbors was not very pleased at all lol it was only at his 3rd atempt that he got the fire going but he says that its supposed to light like how you see it on thepic here but it doesn't stay like that maybe he is using it wrong or just don't have a clue lol. He now says he wants a firepit
