I use to have some of this , it was seeding all over the garden , I didn't mind it was easy to pull up .. I did use it in salads ......

Yes, I agree with everyone, lovely colour. I've heard of this before as a vegetable. I don't see it in the seed racks..must look next year!

Your photo is incredible! I have been trying to grow the red orach for some weeks now and have had no success as of yet. I have tried everything (position and condition, indoors and outdoors, pot and ground...), as well as contacting my organic seed supplier for advice. As a result, no actual advice as such, but I have been given more seeds from a different batch and will be trying for the last time, this weekend. How on earth did you do it?
