doing well richard, the little lad next door brought his plants home from school yeasterday so i told him how to plant then and surport them, gave him canes and string,

I have some in the greenhouse too Joanella -just in case I do lose some with frost or slugs. :-)
That's great Sandra training up the next generation of gardeners young -I didn't start growing my first thing (lettuce) until I was 23..lol :-)

That's great Kath I am sure that kids will find them interesting to grow. I have also put some in a glass jar sandwiched between some kitchen towel and the sides of the jar, with some water at the bottom, so I can see the roots grow. I remember doing that in school and was fascinated by it :-)
