Awww thanks Michaella. His face was a picture when he saw it last week. He took all pics to show his Mum & Dad as they used to live here years ago before previous tennant who let the garden go in a big way.

That looks really lovely Steve. Really pretty and I particularly love the dicentra...if it is dicentra....beside the corner there.

Does your neighbour also have a nice garden? It looks like it might be on 'tropical' lines?

Thanks Clarice & Karen. Yes its just as cheap to buy new than replacement batteries. lol.
Yes Karen its a Dicentra Blleding hearts plant. Think i've got a pic on here in daylight hours. If I haven't then i'll post in a minute.
Our neighbours garden is lovely but all paved and not many flowers due to her suffering from hayfever. God wish she'd told me before i got all my plants. She's gonna love me in the summer when pollen at its peak. I do love her palm tree's and looked into getting 1 myself but very expensive.
Me & the wife have said that if the staghorn tree doesn't look nice this summer than we'll replace it with palm trees.

Stagshorn Sumach is so beautiful in the autumn though Steve. Your neighbour won't be expecting you to keep your garden pollen free, it's just something she has to deal with....poor lady..I'm so glad I don't have that problem! Anyway, it might not be flower pollen that gets her, it might be tree pollen or grasses....
I have the white Dicentra Steve. I love it and it really shines out in shade....so does the pink one of course....I had that in a shady spot in my old garden so thought I 'd go for white here for a change! I really love this photo of yours though, it's so 'serene' looking and the light is just beautful.

Thats good then. See how it goes as its been neglected for couple of years at least. Got rid of dead or broken branches and horns and hopefully the prunning should've worked. Starting to sprout gorgeous colour leaves. Done a close up pic in my photos of this.
I do like the Dicentra and Fuchia, think there gorg plants. I bet white looks nice at night aswell.
Yes its lovely out here at night and got the lighting on walls & sloar along border just right I think. Nice to look at when i'm out having a ciggie
