Thanks B! So, I think it will remain Philippe Vappelle Ann! I'm pretty sure because I recall trying hard to memorise the name and it being French, which I love, I ought to have remembered it!!

I looked at the photo of last year's flowers, Annella, mine is in bud at the moment.

Mine is in a very sunny spot which could account for it's earliness.......
