I fell in love with them after seeing them on GOY. I now have to make sure I group them correctly. I had no idea there were so many until I saw Vicky1 and her amazing collection. I am looking forward to seeing her at GS.

They are lovely. I have been out buying them too. I am trying them in big pots with trailing plants,as Vicki suggested and pictured in her blog.

We have a new in shade section of garden thanks to the neighbours building a huge house south and west of us less than 4m from our boundary and 8.6m high. For a large part of the year the back garden is overshadowed and I thought I would try these there in pots. If I sense they are in danger of it being too cold I can quickly remove them.

It seems, these days, that we can never expect any control over what is going on around us, for any length of time. We have had 5 years of 'brownfield buliding' on 3 sites. Now water pipe men blocking the driveway with various doings, over the last 2 weeks. How mean of neighbours to shade you to that extent. Just keep gardening to the best of your ability Scotsgran.

Thank you, hope your problems are only temporary.
