Ha ha yes Karen- I hope the slugs don't get them they have chomped their way through a few already :-)

Grrrrrr!! I put slug killer on the borders today. the stuff you water in. didn't have enough to do it all and of course you can't use it on edibles.....grrrrrrr!

They don't like gravel as it tires them as they have to produce more slime

I have put egg shells down before Karen they don't like slithering over that either.

Yes, I have used gravel, coffee grinds and sand in the past but since we moved here they seem to be totally unputoffable!!

They are a nuisance Karen -they definitely don't like salt. Did you know that you can put coffee grounds down the sink Karen?

None here Robert. No snails, slugs, or snakes. I like the lack of slithering things.

No Karen wouldn't dream of it. You can't put tea leaves down the sink but coffee grounds are OK -or so I have read. I have always put them down the sink when I have had them. There are a load of other uses for them too:-
