I made these from an old washing up bowl(left) and a mop bucket (right), which is much deeper. I lined the edges with little bits of slate and cemented them in

Hi I think your pond idea looks nice. My friend has a large round plastic container about two feet deep and she put shells around the edge of hers and a plant sticking up in it, and now it has so many frogs in it real ones and looks good also its low maintenece to keep as we have a large pond with 26 goldfish in and it needs cleaning out yearly and is hardwork to look after, but its nice to have water in the garden. also we have a fountain with a water fall, perhaps you should add to it by getting one of those water features that can sit along side it to make it more special and to hear the sound of running water as it is so relaxing. Good luck.

Thanks Hawaii I did wonder about getting a pump and making a waterfall there. I do have a water feature besides this one Hawaii it is a fountain outside the shed and I switch that on when I am sat out in the garden with the family. Thanks for visiting my page and for sharing your ideas I have had a lot of inspiration here on GOY :-)
