When the local cats have been using it I need to do that anyway Sandra .. LOL... I'm worried about all the baby birds sitting about waiting to be fed as well I have seen the cats creeping up on them so any plants that might deter them is worth a try ...

I know what you mean about the birds,Amy.We have had bluetits nesting for the first time in the bird box,and its been up a few years, but this week I can't see much activity from mum and dad.We do have a cat that prowls round, but it has a bell ,so hopefully, its a good warning.I wonder if they have fledged yet,as they aren't in a place where I can watch all the time...Hope they are ok.

I hope they are ok Sandra . it's such a shame when they are deserted , they don't take any notice of our old cat but we have a lot of others that use our place as a short cut to the field .. :o(
