Paeonia Lutea in the sky

Delaveyii is the botanical name lutea is yellow,I think there is more than one colour or shade to this species, would need to look it up to be certain
Just seen yours they look stunning.
Corydalis are dying down and the markers are still there.

....and where does Ludlowii come into it? Yes, there are masses of buds this year, I'm really pleased!

Ludlow was a plant collector that i know, ludlowii = add two ii means that he discovered it in this case a sub species of Lutea ( only one i if a female discovers it ) this is how it works. that's your botany lesson for tonight.
