I shouldn't think she cares less about the seed, she looks a very happy bee.

9-12 months buried in sand. I do it in quite a lazy way but it works,i have galvanized trays with sand in along the length of my glass house staging, main purpose is for my alpines to take up moisture from the bottom ,I just dibble a hole drop them in and wait. They will come up in the open ground if the squirrels don't eat them first ,they take Lutea seed green off the plants if i require them i have to cover them.

What i call them begins with B but not what you called them, that was being really polite .Glass houses all have to have mesh across the opening windows doors that are open most of the time have inner doors with mesh all to stop them digging looking for lost food in the pots. Outside frames are all covered as well, they are hard work.

What a pain for you. They stick to pinching the bird food here - and the population has dropped drastically which is good news for the trees.
