Acer in Snow and Ice

No wonder we lost such a lot of plants ! Is this one ok ?

Hi Aster,

I've just been out to take some photos of my garden now it's coming back to life and remembered I'd taken these in January. I'm just adding some photos of this acer from today and I'm glad to say it looks very healthy :o)

When you look back it's a wonder anything survived !

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to expect. It all melted so quickly when it warmed up that maybe the coating of ice just insulated it for a few days?

So beautiful....hope it could stay like this ever and ever and would do no harm to acer too.
