New Mirror

Scott put the new mirror in for me today with his own design idea.....I'm very impressed...think this gardening bug is getting under his skin!

I was considering getting a mirror but wasn't sure if it would be naff, but yours looks really classy so I'm gonna go for it!

I agree, it looks good there Karen :-))

I agree aswell.

Please don't be offended, Karen but although it can look very nice, some birds will batter themselves to death against a mirror, either flying into it because they don't realize it's a barrier, or attacking the "other bird" that is intruding on their territory.

I never thought of that ....

Not offended Wagger! You just reminded me I need to get something to dangle in front of it and a bird of prey silhouette to stick on it! Thanks! We get at least one fatality every year on our conservatory....it's sad.

That'd do it - great idea! :-))) Falcon? Kestrel? Golden Eagle? lol.

I'm surprised there's not a Clem growing over it already, that would help the birds :-)) I can see a climber at the side....

makes it look like a gateway tell Scott I am impressed, anytime he wants to tinker in a cottage garden he is welcome to do some planning for me too -think he ought to take up garden design - you never know combine your two's skills and you have a new venture.

Steady on there Mum! Although, I did suggest last week, that when he 'retires' we could buy somewhere with a big garden and a couple of holiday lets ....I think that would be great!

Now that is a plan!

Thanks Motty, it's amazing how this has changed since this photo was taken last year. I pollarded the eucalyptus trees, the bamboo is gone, there are added Rhodys....and that lovely malus is really struggling and will probably have to come out soon, and yet it looks so pretty on this picture.....how things change!
