Strongylodon_Macrobotrys.jpg (Strongylodon macrobotrys (Blue jade vine))

Went to Oxford Botanic Gardens this morning.
This is one of the most amazing plants that I've seen.
It originates from the Phillipines.

It's absolutely stunning Louise!
The common name is Jade Vine.
Well worth the effort of cutting & pasting the link to your address bar to see the larger photo.

Meanie:

It is an incredible vine. They're very easy to grow from cutting also.

Don't tempt me!!
They have had a problem with plant thefts in there recently (although you'd struggle to get this out un-noticed).

Meanie:

This vine is easy from cutting...however, it needs very warm greenhouse conditiona...even here in San Diego, CA...we don't see too many around.

If I truly thought I could pull it off I'd build it a hothouse!!
