Thank s for the comments.it was a Malvern show buy about five years ago.needs splitting up and repoting every 2 years .I offered one to a GOY member last year and they turned it down ,Bet He-she is peeved now. lol

Love the flower colour and the contrast with the foliage. Try offering again and I can bet you will be inundated LoL :~))

I've read about it but never seen it. Looks as though it warrants the glowing reports. I can never keep them going though.

Managed tp pick one up on a recent trip to the Cotswolds. Treat like snowdrops? My snowdrops are all plunged in a frame with very little water at the moment. I'm thinking not the same regime for this little beauty. Any more detail would be gratefully received.

Yes that was a bit misleading,I was really thinking of them growing in the ground,once they finish flowering in pots they are moved into shaded frames where the spring bulbs are, kept at the front so i can keep an eye on them and kept moist but not soaked ,aphids can be a problem at ground level as can slugs. it is 100% hardy.

Had to let you know that mine is settling in very nicely. Not doing anything much flowerwise as is busy with the establishing. Love it to bits. Thanks again Brian :~))
