Cyathea cooperi - Australian Tree Fern

Australian tree fern is the most widely grown tree fern in California. It grows well everywhere, except in full sun inland (where it must have semi-shade) and in the high mountains and desert where it doesn't grow at all. Photo taken May 27, 2010.

Yes, they're graceful and grow very tall to 50 feet/ 15 meters in time. I've posted some very tall specimens in the past. : > )
