The Big Trellis Project

Ok so its not quite the eden project ; -) but it occupies my small mind. Last year I tried to get a couple of passion flowers to cover it. They did well initially but were too exposed to survive fully so my idea is to get it covered with leaves/plants to give as much protection for as possible (and to look nice obviously).
Ok this is how it is now in May and from the left we have,
A thornless Blackberry hmmm,
Some plant my mum gave me and hiding behind that a small passion flower, protected see,
The a Chocolate vine, growing well, ok its semi-evergreen,
Then belive it or not a Kiwi plant (survived the winter :0)
Then a Virginia creeper for big leaves and can take anything,
Then another small passion flower (£3 b&Q) behind some other plant my mum gave me,
The next big pot is a thick passion stem that was a huge plant but was all but near killed in winter, (but it just has 2 buds),
I also put another passion flower in with it as insurance..simples,
A pot of crap jasmine on top to keep any wind frost blocked,
next again is big pot with a couple of older passion flowers which i threaded round the back for extra protection. One is dead already but the other lives on.
And ontop of that to keep the frost off is a small willow tree (£2 morrisons) again the theory here is to block the wind and frost as it comes across providing some shelter.
So thats the big trellis folks, lots of direct sun hence some fruit and cover for my liking for passion flowers.
Will update as she grows.
