Bolton Abbey

So romantic love wandering around old ruins.

i wish we had old ruins around here.

It has a beautiful church get you air bed rubber tyre dingy and float down the little rapids/stream climb the water fall, visit the shop which is beautiful too, cross the field to the stream with the sheep in the fields.

lol Shows how many times I ve been there I forgot they do rock climbing there too. lol. Have you ever seen the graves in the abbey their dates are in roman numberals, they date back quite a bit.

Yes he was just checked up on net will look if I ever go their again he was a lovely bloke

Love this place, Ditto with Pansypotter, My partner says the same, she loves wandering around old ruins too, "with an old ruin" she says!... not too sure how to take that! :-)

Yeah we seen his grave at the bottom of the cemetery the last time we visited, very poignant I thought

I have not seen it, can't walk so far with my bad leg,

It is a little crowded & the access to it directly could be quite challenging for some I thought, also the gravel path can get a little steep if I remember correctly…I was going to take a picture but was persuaded not too.... :-/
