I planted this one roughly 6 yrs ago and it was about 18 inches tall (sorry Trev. I still work in feet and inches) the year before last I gave it a good haircut and last year it was absolutely full of brushes - the best its ever been, so after it finishes flowering this year, I will trim it again. How tall is yours at the moment?

thanks Sandra, It was smothered with brushes last year , we had a really good show, but wasn't so good this year. We cut it down a bit after it finished flowering as it had got so tall again. Its the second time we have given it a good haircut. How tall is your one Sandra?

mine only a baby lin, i got it off ebay last autumn at about 12 inches, its now about 2ft and getting a bit bushier, lots of new growth, so will protect it through winter so i dont loose it and then hoping will grow alot more next year, even an odd flower would be good,

Oh great ! it will probably grow quite a bit next spring, it should be ok through the winter now. Hubbys just been outside to see if Fluffy (our cat) wants to come in and shes just laying on the lawn watching a frog. Shes always been good with them, but shes 19 now so I dont think shes got the energy to chase them anyway !!

lol know what you mean as my last cat angelia never chased birds, just sat and watched them, they even walked passed her and she didnt care ;o)

Yes , some just dont seem to want to hurt them do they. Fluffys sister Susie used to catch the birds in her mouth but never ever harmed them. She would sometimes just put them down or I would take them out and they just flew off.

can cope with that ;o))
