Lupin 'Gallery Red'....still looking more pink than red!!

I had wondered if this year it may be redder than last year....I don't know why it would be! But it isn't, still pretty though!

My daughter is after really red ones, so I bought a packet of seed (red seeds supposedly), next year will tell whether they are red, they are supposed to be from the picture on the packet, they have germinated well, all planted up now into their own little pots. I shall keep my fingers crossed I know they say red but their red and my red are sometimes totally different. lol. Still like the pink ones myself, have a couple of these, they look lovely and if planted alongside a dark purple one, wow they are amazing.

I hope they turn out as you want Olive, I got this last year. I would still like a proper red too.

Apparently the colds weather has deterred them, I bet they soon recover, the thrush is helping out, keep finding shells smashed on the pathways. I shall make the most of it as they say count your blessings. Don't think it will be for long, even the Hostas are not shredded YET!!!
