I thought that most of us on goY are amateurs? if you can choose the right plants they will do well without a person having a lot of expertise!? maybe? that's a great aspect of gardening...learning what will grow best in your particular garden? I've learned that it isn't always the plant we most want...some of it is learning to love the plant(s) we have! I'm proud to be an amateur...how 'bout you?

I've seen a lot of it in the nurseries this year... and small wonder. I actually managed to keep it alive over winter!! it's out in the shade porch now and enjoying all the rain we've been getting. blooming well too!
