After this hedgehog drowned in the big tub where we collect rainwater from the greenhouse, we made several escape routes in it (see earlier photos)

Yes, we were so sad, it stayed in our thoughts for sooo long! How long he must have hung on, tried to swim perhaps, ....
After that, we tried out several 'rescue and escape routes' until we found the right one...
