In this area of Balboa Park, San Diego there's many very large Banyan trees. Photo taken June 3, 2010.

Yes, all Ficus (figs) will fruit here. This tree has thousands of inedible fruit (only edible to animals and bats, birds).
I'll post a close up of the fruit.
