Mistletoe on Cooking Apple Tree at Vistabile 05.08

When I moved in I was delighted to find a large mistletoe growing on the old apple tree. While I was ill a couple of years ago a kind neighbour helped out with the care of the garden, and cut the mistletoe back to the bark. I was so pleased to find it was still growing last year, but as it only puts on two shoots each year it will be a long time before it reaches the size it had been.
