Sweet Peas

Thanks Kathy. These sweet peas have been set since October. Over wintered in the greenhouse and then I had to wait and wait until the frosts past before I could put them out.
Have you got that grass next the the geum (blue) Kathy, its a spanish reed, I think you'd like it, gets to about 8 feet each year.

Oh thats why then sowed mine spring this year.
Think I may have that reed Dawn or one that looks like it, a man on the allotments gave me a piece, he cuts it down every year and uses the canes on his allotment.

That will be the one Kathy, they do make brilliant canes and they are quite happy to grow in the wet/damp.

Lovely ours very slow, dont think they like the soil they are in at the moment, like the big grass Dawn first thing I noticed lol

Wow the sweet peas are early Dawn ... they will look a treat growing up the timbers ........

DRC: This area was done about 5 years ago.
We clean the slabs with the cheap bleach from Lidl once a year, its only about 69p for a gallon.

I use bleach too but its not as nice as yours to begin with.

The sweet peas have given a lovely splash of colour, I'll be growing them each year now.
