Not seen it in a garden before does it get dirty?

No Astro Turf does not get dirty the rain washes it as the base is porus.All it needs is a brushup now and again.It is used in a Nursing home that I know of actually quite a large area if possible I will try and get a photograph for you to look at :():

Fascinating, how long will it last and do animals use it?

Badger has his own mat 3x4mts I am training him to use.There is a picture of him behind the gate on his patch, once he`s been a good boy we let him loose over all areas (::)

My cats would think it was their scratch mat and no doubt be highly delighted....

This is amazing stuff, and looks realistic as well. It must be so beneficial if poor health restricts the jobs you can do in a garden, my OH would love this too! :~))
