My husband says that he fastened wooden battens to the wall, and then screwed the framework on to that, before he put the glass in. You can also see that it's standing on flagstones. He used mastic all round the frame where there was a narrow gap.

It didn't seem to be a huge job, once he'd got the paving slabs horizontal with his spirit level. No naughty words, anyway! LOL.

My husband and I put together a greenhouse shortly after we were married several years ago - it was the setting for our first argument. : o )
We'll see how this one goes...should be interesting.
