Sterile hybrid (so no seedlings) for sun or half shade. Around a foot hgh and two to three across

This is in a narrow strip (no more than a foot deep) between a path and my fruit cage, so it can't go far and I can get close to photograph it. The whole border is planted with dwarf cranesbills, grasses and a few small gladioli and pretty well looks after itself

I can get to mine, too, but it's the small flowers that I have to take several shots of to 'get' a good photo. I have a pink x cantabrigiense, as well - I must see if I found out its name...I think I did, in the end.
I like these - the macrorrhizum leaves smell so pungent that I find it unpleasant. I hate dead-heading them! These - no problem!

Do you have a macro facility on your camera spritz? I do which means I can get very close for photos (to within an inch I think)

Yes, but the photo blurs at 1". I shall have a try at photographing both plants this afternoon, Andrew!
